Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) has completed its acquisition of Genting Hong Kong Ltd.'s remaining interests in Newport World Resorts and related companies, ending their joint venture that began in 2009.
In a recent Philippine Stock Exchange filing, AGI announced the successful completion of the acquisition process. All conditions for the transaction were met, leading to the transfer of shares to Newport World Resorts Philippines Inc. (NWRPI). The acquisition marks the end of the joint venture between AGI and Genting Hong Kong Ltd., which has been in place since 2009.
