A defendant in the rigged poker games and NBA gambling scandal, Ammar Awawdeh, has reached a plea deal.
Involved in cases leading to the arrests of Jontay Porter, Terry Rozier, Malik Beasley, Chauncey Billups, and Damon Jones, along with Mafia members, 34-year-old Ammar Awawdeh has struck a plea deal. Prosecutors have identified him as an associate in the betting scandal. Meanwhile, Terry Rozier has been denied a return to the NBA amidst the ongoing investigations.
