Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) has received European Commission approval for its acquisition of Electronic Arts under the EU Merger Regulation.
The Commission stated that the acquisition, involving the production and distribution of video games on various platforms and the organization of esports events, does not raise competition concerns.
