Lithuania has reaffirmed the use of ‘mandatory player cards’ as the cornerstone reform of its overhaul of gambling laws to be fully implemented by 2029.
The Gambling Control Authority of Lithuania provided an appraisal to SBC News, stating that the player card system is considered a crucial new measure for central control following amendments to the gambling legislation. The mandatory player cards aim to enhance oversight and regulation of the gambling sector, ensuring a more responsible and secure environment for players.
