Games London has announced that the London Games Festival will move to a central venue in 2027.
Games London centralises the programme at the Business Design Centre to improve accessibility for international visitors. The event, scheduled from April 12 to April 19, 2027, will feature the New Game Plus public showcase, B2B Games Finance Market event, industry conferences, and networking opportunities at the Business Design Centre. Additionally, Games London's Ensemble exhibition and Screen Play conference will be held at other venues, while the BAFTA Game Awards will return to the Queen Elizabeth Hall at Southbank. A Friday Late event focusing on games is planned at the Victoria & Albert Museum. The festival's Official Selection will offer a curated lineup of games for both in-person and online international audiences. Keynote speaker announcements are expected later this year, coinciding with the opening of applications for various events.
