A man used specially modified shirts to place bets on Macao casinos’ baccarat tables on behalf of illegal gamblers in Mainland China, say police.
Judiciary Police reported that the suspect, surnamed Zhang, utilized various electronic devices sewn and taped onto his clothing to facilitate the illegal betting activities. The elaborate setup allowed him to assist Mainland Chinese gamblers in wagering at the baccarat tables in Macao casinos. The case was detailed in a report by the Chinese-language newspaper Macao Daily News.
Law enforcement officers discovered the scheme and are conducting further investigations into the matter to apprehend all individuals involved in the illicit gambling operation.
