The State Duma, Russia’s lower parliamentary house, passed a bill mandating fines during a plenary session on July 8, as reported by the Russian Parliamentary Gazette. The bill aims to penalize casinos that allow individuals on the self-prohibition list to gamble, with fines reaching $6,500. This move is part of efforts to curb problem gambling in the country and enforce responsible gaming practices.
