Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Morocco, and Egypt are all striving to achieve this goal by 2030, a vision that originated in 2016 when Saudi Arabia's crown prince Mohammed bin Salman introduced Vision 2030 to reduce the Kingdom's dependence on oil. The gaming industry has since been identified as a key sector to drive this economic diversification.
