Kalshi has added India to its list of restricted jurisdictions, preventing users in the country from accessing and trading event contracts on the platform following regulatory action under India's new online gaming framework.
Kalshi has taken the decision to bar Indian users from its platform in response to regulatory developments in the country. The move comes after India introduced a new online gaming framework, prompting Kalshi to update its member agreement on June 17. According to the updated terms, individuals domiciled, organized, or located in India are now prohibited from participating in trading event contracts on the platform.
