Police in Minsk, Belarus, have arrested a man accused of stealing his fiancée’s money to gamble at a casino, before running away to hide in a farmer’s field.
The 38-year-old Minsk resident was charged with theft by officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The ministry reported that the man had taken the money to gamble at a casino and then fled to a field to hide. The incident was covered by the Belarusian media outlet Smart Press.
