Unity has revealed the recipients of its 2026 Unity for Humanity Grant, recognizing ten developers and three honorable mentions from eight different countries. The winners will benefit from a $600,000 prize pool from the Unity Charitable Fund to advance their projects, develop prototypes, or promote and distribute their products. This year saw over 515 project submissions, marking a consecutive year of record-breaking participation.
The selected projects tackle global issues in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, utilizing real-time 3D technology. They focus on areas like healthcare, mental wellness, environmental education, social impact, and cultural conservation.
Among the winners are Six Wing Studios, Khalayan Arts, and Charles Games, while the honorable mentions include Limbitless Solutions from the University of Central Florida, Organised Khaos, and Mindflight 7. The winning projects range from Amaru Reimagined by Six Wing Studios to Project Ember by Buckingham Health Research & Innovation Centre.
